...well ok, a business woman, female... not quite the 'lady' :)
What has been a passionate hobby has quite quickly turned a little bit more serious.
Over the last 12 months it's taken off gently and kind of forced me into registering my business which is great news for me. I can now take myself a bit more seriously rather than saying... it's just a hobby, which was fab in itself as it's always good to have an interest in something but now, I think differently, I have more drive...
I did have some good coaching as well, with Ruth at The Consult Centre
Enrolling on the Academy Course they run was I think the best thing I did.
I ummed and ahhhd and ummed again and then just did it... I wasn't sure what it was but had a good feeling...
... and my eyes were opened into the world of online advertising and the way Ruth made us as a group think about our goals and how to have self worth in the services or work we sold.
It was invaluable and I highly recommend her if you're thinking of doing the same.
I also made some lovely friends there too and it's just a shame that covid got in the way!
I've still got a heck of a lot to learn and having the time to devote to my 'online work' is a struggle as I want to make jewellery, not be stuck behind a laptop but that's part of it and if I don't do it, then no one will see it so I've learned that it's one big important part of running this business.
So, Christmas is coming, I'm rather busy and I like it! But THE MOST important part of this whole thing are my wonderfully fantastic customers because without you it wouldn't happen and I'm so grateful for your support.
Please bear with me while I get up and running properly on the website as I've not got my head round the emailing and subscription part yet (that's an appointment with Ruth to come...) and I want to learn how to treat my subscribers once in a while so watch this space...
